LILIANNA KANE is a teacher and practitioner of Contact Improvisation. She is committed to CI as a physical practice of asking questions, paying attention, patience, listening, presence and peace. She teaches and shares her practice nationally and internationally, as well as produces and organizes international CI gatherings and intensives. She is on faculty at The Field Center for Performance, Dance and Multimedia Art as a teacher, curator and producer. She is deeply indebted and inspired by all of her teachers, dance partners, and dance ancestors, who continually influence her practice. She is devoted to continuing and expanding the lineage of Contact Improvisation for generations to come. Lilianna is also the head chef at The Field Center, a Thai Yoga Massage Bodyworker, and currently studying to become a Biodynamic CranioSacral Therapist.
